Bible Reading: Luke 2:1-7, Micah 5:2
Most of life’s journeys we take never turn out how we want them to and it’s probably for the best that they don’t. Our idea of the perfect journey…you know the big plans and itineraries that we use in hopes to stay on track rarely if ever fall into place.
I am addicted to pretty planners where I can write pretty lists and tasks to be done…I spend lots of time setting goals and working to check off boxes, but if I have learned anything in life it is that when I plan God laughs.
God changes our direction to serve His purpose and not our own. God has changed my direction on more than one occasion and it is always for the better. Things may not go how I expect but His way always leads to doors of opportunity to do work for the Kingdom.
Remember when the story changes there is always a purpose.
