We cannot talk about embracing God’s pace without talking about sharing the Gospel. You see God’s pace is about what is important, it is about what He told the disciples to go and do. He told them to go and make more disciples, to tell others that there is hope for all.
Embracing God’s pace also means embracing God’s priorities as our priorities…God has a job for us…sharing the hope of Jesus with the world.
This should never just be another task on our list of things to do, it should be embedded and engrained in to how we live every day. When we stop to think…When was the last time we told someone about Jesus, when was the last time (outside the walls of our churches) that we told someone that Jesus loves them and came to give them peace, hope and an eternity with Him in Heaven.
We cannot ignore the task we have, the commission in front of us to share the gospel…to present truth to a world that is lost…to His sheep who have wandered away.
In a world that is changing rapidly, a world filled with uncertainty and anxiety we have a sure foundation, we have truth and hope because of Jesus. Let us not keep it to ourselves but share it with a world who needs to hear it.
Lord, We love you…we praise you and thank you for your incredible mercy and abundant protection. God show us how to embrace your pace and share the Gospel. Help us to be bold and filled with your Spirit as we share your love and hope with the world. God soften hearts around the world to your Gospel message, Jesus bring a great revival in this place, that we may see your mighty hand move in a way far greater than we can imagine! In your name we pray precious Jesus, Amen.
